The possibilities of increasing the probability of timely delivery of packets of heterogeneous traffic to the addressee are investigated as a result of setting the multiplicity of packet redundancy depending on their criticality to delays in the queues of switching nodes that make up the delivery path of a replica packet to the addressee. For multipath redundant transmission of packets of heterogeneous traffic by acceptable packet delays in the network, an analytical model is proposed for estimating the probability of timely delivery of at least one of the replicas of packets transmitted to the addressee The efficiency of destroying expired packets in intermediate nodes that make up data transmission paths is shown
